In 2024 we distributed 90,754 lbs of fresh produce!
Our Why
Addressing Food Insecurity.
High poverty rates and limited access to fresh, nutritious food make it difficult for communities like Roosevelt Park to maintain a healthy diet. EquiTable ensures that all residents—regardless of income—have access to the nourishing food they need to thrive.
Breaking Cycles.
Limited access to fresh fruits and vegetables contributes to chronic illnesses such as diabetes, hypertension, and heart disease. By providing nutrient-rich food, EquiTable supports long-term community health and well-being.
Supporting Communities.
Gentrification and rising rents in neighborhoods make it harder for long-term residents to afford basic necessities. EquiTable helps ease financial strain by ensuring access to fresh food, so families don’t have to choose between rent and nutrition.
Partnering for Impact.
Collaboration is key to fighting food insecurity. EquiTable partners with local organizations, businesses, and supporters to distribute fresh produce and lean proteins, ensuring that more households receive consistent, high-quality food.
Empowering Through Food Access.
Food is more than nourishment—it’s dignity, culture, and connection. EquiTable listens to the communities it serves, ensuring that food distributions reflect the needs and preferences of residents while fostering a sense of belonging.
Sustainable Solutions for the Future.
EquiTable isn’t just about providing food today—it’s about building a system where equitable food access is the norm. Through community-driven solutions, we’re working toward a future where fresh, healthy food is available to all.
